Very sore from working out ...?

You should probably have skipped a day but also taken it easy on your workout. It takes time to get back into shape. You thought they were sissy weights but was that comparing them to what you lifted before when you were regularly lifting weights.Take it easy and build up the weights slowly and you'll be able to lift more in no time.If you carry on straining yourself you may get injured and that will set you back even more.
