Windows Vista Ultimate?

I used Vista x64 all the time before my Macbook and I had no problems with programme compatibility. The only stuff that's not going to work are 16bit programmes (this technology was last used aaages ago) so anything not ancient should run. I'm not too sure about the leap to ultimate though, what kind of things do you use your computer for most because it may be that you'd benefit more from Vista Business or just home premium x64.
