Best place for valentines day dinner in new york?

arriving in new york on valentines day for 1 week break. staying in midtown east on 5th ave just opposite the empire state. would like to know about a mid range restaurant where i can book a table for my partner and i to have a cool valentines dinner - preferably a place that will be cool with the fact that me and my parner are both guys! would love it to be somewhere great as its our first night in new york and want it to be memorable
