What can we do to keep cat from going off at night?

The last 3 months our cat will just sound off at random times of the night. We've tried everything that is humanely possible and are at out wits end. I've tried to keep him busy during the day by playing and giving him things to play with. At night when we go to bed sometimes he sounds off, but most of the time it can be anywhere from midnight to 4 or 5 in the morning. Usually around 3 is one of the times he sounds off. We've also sprayed him with water, pet him, shook him a little to let him know we're not happy, let him sleep beside my side which is getting increasingly difficult since I'm pregnant and getting bigger, and I've even taken him to the kitchen sink and threatened him with water that way. I've given treats thrown a pillow and an empty water bottle at him. Even after some things he still will sound off. What can we do? Help! I'm/we're frustrated and disgusted and loosing even more sleep than we should.

What could a low MPV in my bloodwork mean? I am also fatigued and bruising.?

My MPV value was a 7.1 and everything else was low (save for a low CO2 level). I went to the doctors due to extreme tiredness and fatigue. I also have a scarily large bruise on my calf that I have no idea where it came from. It began really purple blue and then had a bright deep red in the middle. It is now yellow in the middle and has spread outward in a splotchy fashion (two weeks after I got it). I have never had any health problems (except for an extremely irregular cycle) and I am not anemic, to the best of my knowledge.

My daughter had an affair with her aunt's hubby and is now expecting her second child with the same guy. He lives with his wife and visits my daughter whenever he is able to. My own husband despises him, I could careless about him, my daughter doesn't know what she wants. He wants to be with my daughter but is afraid to go through with it because we pressed charges and he is now considered a pedofile. Should we go on as if life is just fine?
