Why do old people hate rap?

If you are courteous about it most people don't care what you listen to. Most know music and art are subjective. Consider this, how would you like it if you were enjoying a peaceful evening at home and your elderly neighbors were discourteous enough to play their music so loud you had no choice but to listen to it. To each his/her own but we all have to share this world so courtesty is essential.
