Toothbrush question which will inform many?

hi so i heard somewhere a few weeks back, that storing your toothbrush in alcohol free mouthwash constantly between brushing kills all the bacteria on the brush and therefore the next time you use your brush it is super clean and traces of germs and bacterica from your last brush are erased. is this true? thing is yesterday i bought a new colgate toothbrush and some dentyl mouthwash which is alcohol free.
