Nicknames for Eliza and Matilda?

I absolutely love them both! And I agree, it is hard to decide between the two names. I think Eliza is fine the way it is. It could be a nickname for Elizabeth, which means it doesn't exactly need a nickname. Liz is a bit common, but Elly is a little cutesy..but it could work for an infant/toddler. Liza could be a nickname as well. As for Matilda, Tilda, Tilly, and Milly don't seem right. And Lilly is just extremely overused. Matti is adorable though!! Plus, it could be used as she's a little older. The other nicknames, except for Lilly, seem very childish. If you're planning on having more than one child, and you'd like to use both names, I suggest using Eliza first and then Matilda..just because Matilda seems more like a younger sisters name than Eliza does.. in my opinion.
