Jehovah's Witnesses, why did the revised version of the NWT 1970?

continue to have the word "worship" when it pertains to Jesus Christ? And why did the NWT at one point decide it should not be worship when it pertains to Jesus Christ? If the NWT is word for word from the original as many JW's claim it is, then why isn't it still worship? Do you see what this implies or rather, what it means that Jesus Christ was worshiped? Is this the reason they changed it, because of what it does mean?
