If the American public loves Obama's hope and change so much, why do only 26% think that he will be re-elected?

Americans are disappointed in Obama's failed policies as is evident in the Republican land slide victory in mid term elections. After huge Democratic losses, Obama states the populace is not smart enough to understand his programs dooming him to be an Epic Fail.
