Fisher's! im a first timer, and i need a few tips!?

i'm not an expert but i wouldn't leave a fish out of water and in the sun for more than an hour unless it's a cat fish. I usually bring a bucket and fill it with water and put the fish in that. You can gut it on the spot to keep from puking at your campsite if you have a weak stomach. If your fishing in a boat you should think about blood getting all in the boat.
