Why isn't my ka-bar sharp?

I recently purchased a ka-bar, brand new, ad when I opened it up, I noticed that the blade isn't sharp. I thought it would have come sharpened. I recently heard from a friend that the company has a small layer of metal on the top and all you do is just take some sand paper and the sharpened blade comes out. Is this true or will I have to get a sharpener?

i'd say what a rhyme dictionary is to poetry is what tracing is to drawing, the end result will be impressive but you won't really feel accomplished. i'd say they're like training wheels but i don't imagine people with so much talent would still be at a stage where they need help.

Who came up with the term '' to define or label individuals whose means of gender expression differs from those of other people? I know that 'Transual' is commonly used to describe individuals who have gender identity issues and seek psychological, hormonal, and in most cases, surgical modification of their external appearance to match their brain's mental gender identity. Do you think that the term 'Gender Variant' should be used to describe those individuals who are more commonly labelled as 'TG'? This might help people who are confused by the terms 'TG" and 'TS'.
